Gliders on 7, Airplanes on 14

Airplane Pattern in Green, Glider Pattern in Red

NOTE: Image is not to scale.

This case provides good separation between airplane and glider traffic.  For glider landing the primary concern is prior to entering the pattern if coming from the north/northeast.  Maneuver to the south of the airport well before reaching the 1200-ft MSL traffic pattern altitude.

For glider launch the primary concern is airplanes departing or going around on 14, including shortly after launch in the event of a rope break and turn-back.  Do not launch if timing suggests a potential future conflict.
